I was born in the wide Castile and studied at the historic and prestigious university of Salamanca. Thanks to my curiosity to learn about the world and people, combined with a passion for reading and writing, I started my teaching career 20 years ago. I have taught Spanish at university and I’m currently teaching in Turin and at the ILC in Chieri. The love for my country, my language and my culture are a constant that I try to convey to my students during my lessons.

The choice to specialise my teaching method towards young learners derives from my linguistic and artistic education. Children’s learning path is paved with games, songs, drawings and fun activities. I play with communication in all its forms, to stimulate and arise children’s inquisitive nature thus making their first approach to English fun and unforgettable.

Since I was a child I have always known that languages would be in my future. I love travelling, I love history and I love foreign languages. From this combination, my passion for teaching English language, history and culture was born.
The best part of my job? My students' joy when they drop barriers, overcome their fears and begin to speak fluently.

Jonathan Akingba
I am a classically trained actor and spent 3 years at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. whilst there I trained in classical and modern text from Shakespeare to Moliere from the Greek classics to modern and contemporary plays, I was trained physically and mentally and during my time learned the discipline that would be needed in the arts to create. once I left school I was in shows all over the capital mainly Shakespeare such as love labours lost a Shakespeare play and a funny thing happened on the way to the forum a musical production. I decided to move to Italy to seek a new challenge in life and am relishing the future. During my time at university I also taught in schools so had experience before moving to Italy and decided that its what I wanted to do.
Luisa Mirone
I’ve been passionate about foreign languages since my childhood. After attaining ‘A levels’ in languages I have specialized in Interpreting and Translation.
I have worked in different sectors within the field of Commerce and participated in regulatory activities at European and International level. Finally, I have returned to my initial dream: to teach.
Laura Comollo
My educational path started in England. The passion for English in all its facets has allowed me to research and experiment with new teaching techniques. After training as a voluntary ESL teacher, teaching English to Asian refugees, I qualified as a CELTA teacher. It has allowed me to master the basics of teaching young people and adults from all over the world. I work for ILC Chieri contributing to the effective teaching of the English language. This has become an essential requirement for the careers of the new generations.
